The summer is the hottest in years. The sun makes indoor living unbearable. A deep longing to be in the wide open air starts to grow. Leaving a failed anti-establishment movement behind, Klara, Julia, Erik and Victor travel to the vast wilderness of the north to understand the essence of being a human. For that sensation of sun-scorched pine needles underneath their feet, the roar of the rivers and the cries of the birds echoing into eternity through the valleys. They have a notion that perhaps this is how it always should have been. Before and beyond civilization. Before everything turned corrupt.

Together they venture deep into the heart of uncharted Norrland, the North of Sweden. Prepared to find themselves. The soul of their people. They just don’t realize that they are not welcome at all.
