Accreditation

This is the information for Finnish Film Affair 2025. Accreditations for the next edition will open by summer 2026.

The available accreditation types to purchase are International Accreditation for those travelling to Helsinki, Local Accreditation for industry professionals in Finland and Student Accreditation for a discounted price for students of audiovisual fields. In 2025, we introduced Afterwork Accreditation for a chance to take part in the event without committing for the full three days.

You have the option to add the R&A Pro pass to your accreditation for access to Helsinki International Film Festival screenings throughout the full 11 days.

All prices include VAT 14%. See below for details.

Local Accreditation

FFA’s accreditation for local professionals can be purchased for the price of 190 € until mid September. The price includes VAT 14%.

The accreditation for local industry professionals includes:

  • Access to full public programme, including panels and the showcase
  • Opportunity to attend selected festival screenings of the newest Finnish films at HIFF 24.–26.9.
  • Networking opportunities including receptions and an industry afterparty on Thursday

This accreditation type does not include the following:

• Sauna dinner (invite only)
• Lunches on Thursday and Friday – but you are welcome to join our guests at the selected restaurants

International Accreditation

INTERNATIONAL ACCREDITATION IS SOLD OUT. 

FFA’s accreditation for international professionals can be purchased for the price of 240 € until mid September. The accreditation is only for those attending FFA from overseas. The price includes VAT 14%.

The accreditation for international industry professionals includes:

  • Access to full public programme, including panels, the showcase & networking
  • Opportunity to attend selected festival screenings of the newest Finnish films at HIFF 24.–26.9.
  • Invite to the sauna dinner and award ceremony as well as an industry afterparty on Thursday
  • Lunch covered for you on Thursday and Friday 25.–26.9.
  • The help of our matchmaker, curating your meetings with hand-chosen projects
  • Discount code for our festival hotel

There is limited availability for international accreditations and the purchase option will be closed once we meet the quota.

Afterwork Accreditation

Are you keen on joining the FFA fun, but too busy to commit to the full event? FFA’s Afterwork Accreditation is your answer!  

This accreditation gives you access to networking and new insights from the evening of Thursday, September 25, through Friday, September 26. The Afterwork Accreditation can be purchased for 65 €. 

The Afterwork Accreditation includes:

  • Industry afterparty on Thursday
  • All panels on Friday
  • Closing reception on Friday
  • Access to delegate list

The accreditation does not include:

  • Löyly Sauna Dinner on Thursday (invite only)
  • The showcase day

Student Accreditation

FFA’s student accreditation for 85 € until mid September. The price includes VAT 14%. The accreditation is open to all students in audiovisual fields.

The student accreditation includes:

  • Access to the full public programme including panels and the Showcase Day
  • Open networking receptions and an industry party on Thursday

The student accreditation does not include:

  • Access to selected Finnish festival screenings at HIFF during the event days 24.–26.9.
  • Showcase award reception (invite only)
  • Lunches on Thursday and Friday

R&A Pro

R&A Pro is the pass for the Helsinki International Film Festival – Love & Anarchy for the full 11 days 18.–28.9.2025. The R&A Pro pass can be purchased at a discounted price of 65 € (incl. VAT 14%) when purchased alongside FFA accreditation through the forms above, otherwise the R&A Pro pass can be purchased at the standalone price of 80 € (incl. VAT 14%) once the R&A accreditations open.

R&A Pro professional accreditation includes the right to redeem three screening tickets daily (subject to availability per screening) from 18 September onwards for the duration of the festival. The Pro pass is for industry professionals, and not available for students.

Please note that the R&A Pro pass does not guarantee access to a specific film or screening (ticket quotas are in use for badge holders). Furthermore, access to galas or special screenings is not included in the accreditation.

Finnish Film Affair (hereafter “FFA”) is an event organised by Helsinki International Film Festival – Love & Anarchy registered association (hereafter “HIFF”).

Customer

FFA is an event for professionals working in the audiovisual industry. The accreditations are on sale online and can be purchased via an open form without limitations.

After the purchase, FFA reserves the right to confirm the acceptance to attend. In the rare event of FFA declining the accreditation, the payment will be refunded in full to the buyer.

General Terms and Conditions

The sales service provider of FFA is Eventio Oy (business ID FI19253374, hereafter “Eventio”). You can find their general terms and conditions translated into English here (original Finnish version here). FFA handles the sales.

The parties to the sales agreement are FFA and the Customer, and the agreement is governed by Finnish law. The contract is binding on both parties once a payment has been received through Eventio. FFA and Eventio may communicate digitally with the customer via email or phone regarding the purchase.

Collection of Personal Data

The legal basis for processing personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation is the customer relationship and the individual’s consent. The purpose of processing personal data is to communicate with customers and maintain the customer relationship, such as notifying about changes, delivering tickets, and providing customer service.

By submitting a purchase form, you agree to our Privacy Statement. Personal data may be used for marketing purposes with the individual’s consent.

Description of Services

FFA can be only accessed with a valid accreditation. There are different types of accreditation each granting you access to specified parts of the event. You can find the specifications above.

Student accreditation is only available to students of audiovisual fields currently enrolled in an institution. International Accreditation is only available to participants from outside of Finland.

The customer is responsible for familiarising themselves with the types of accreditation. FFA reserves the right to programme changes, and will communicate them promptly to the customer.

Payment Terms

The accreditation prices are expressed on the purchase forms. All prices include VAT 14%. A limited-time early bird offer is available until 31.7.2025. FFA reserves the right for special offers and changes in pricing.

Eventio acts as an intermediator and representative when collecting payments on behalf of FFA. The payment intermediary service is provided by Paytrail Oyj (business ID FI21228397, hereafter “Paytrail”) in cooperation with Finnish banks and financial institutions. Paytrail Oyj appears as the payee on your bank statement or card bill and forwards the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj holds a payment institution license. In case of complaints, please contact the product supplier first.

Delivery

The accreditation is purchased online. To access the programme, accredited participants must collect a physical pass and have it visible throughout the event.

The passes can be picked up from a collection point before and during the event. FFA will communicate the collection schedule and information prior to the event to accredited participants.

Returns and Refunds

The purchase is final and not refundable once a payment has been made. If the customer faces a Force Majeure event and is thus unable to attend FFA, FFA will consider refunds on a case by case basis.

If an accredited customer is considered not eligible for attendance, a full refund will be issued. Changes in the programme do not warrant a refund.

Feedback and Reclamations

All feedback should be directed to FFA. If the feedback relates to the services by Eventio or Paytrail, FFA will direct the feedback to the applicable service provider to resolve the issue.

Applicable Law

These terms and conditions and their interpretation are governed by Finnish law. Disputes related to the terms and conditions or the contractual relationship should first be resolved through negotiation.

If a consensus cannot be reached through negotiation, disputes will be resolved in the District Court of Helsinki. If the customer is an individual, they also have the right to refer the dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board of Finland for resolution.

Validity

These terms and conditions come into effect on June 18, 2025, and remain in force indefinitely. By purchasing an accreditation from FFA, the customer accepts these terms and conditions.
