FFA Programme Sneak Peek: Spotlight on France & the return of F-Weird
While we are putting the finishing touches on the 14th edition of Finnish Film Affair taking place on 24.–26.9.2025, it’s time to share some sneak peeks to the programme.
This year, we are excited to turn the spotlight on France. In collaboration with the Finnish Film Foundation, FFA will integrate a French focus seen throughout the programme, offering insights on co-production and financing opportunities with France, a stellar cast of French guests, as well as a chance to connect with French producers attending the event.
Of course, FFA is also the place for taking a look at the coolest, current projects from the Nordics – and beyond. Yes, we heard your call: Finnish Weird, aka F-Weird, is back!
The delightfully unique pitching session that debuted last year is making its return. The F-Weird series spices up FFA’s showcase, featuring the boldest and most daring projects across various formats and genres from emerging filmmakers from Finland and beyond.
We’re also thrilled to welcome back two of our brilliant moderators, and beloved friends of FFA: Marta Balaga and Andrea Reuter.
Stay tuned for more programme reveals. We can guarantee that the next FFA will be packed with fresh ideas, inspiring discussions, a warm atmosphere, and plenty of networking opportunities!
